The placement of an order accepts the following conditions:
1. Availability: All items are subject to availability. In the event a brand being unavailable or discontinued, we will contact the customer for further instructions. If an item is not available in the requested weight and the customer has requested we supply a different weight combination, then we will attempt to supply a larger quantity of the same item type but in smaller weights, the total weight will either equal or exceed the original amount requested, or an appropriate refund will be given.
Due to packaging changes etc the pictures may differ from the product you receive. You will always receive the current product available to us at the time of your order as we do not hold stock, but buy on demand. This enables you to receive products with the latest possible best before date.
2. All descriptions and weights are those of the original manufacturer and are intended to give a general description of the goods. The weight to be shipped includes a general allowance made for the packaging of goods.
3. Food Allergies: If you have a food allergy or intolerance, it is your responsibility to read the label and check the ingredients of any products purchased before using or consuming them, to ensure that they do not contain the type of foods that you need to avoid. If you do not understand the wording on the packaging of any product because it is in a language that you are not familiar with, you should have this properly translated.
4. Pricing: Please note that prices are subject to change without notice. Prices can be shown in Euros or Pounds Sterling, the exchange rate is updated daily.
5. Dispatch and Delivery: Delivery times are based on our couriers and are approximate. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept delivery. If for any reason we can not dispatch your order within 5 working days, we will notify you by e-mail. We will only dispatch your order once it is complete. We do not send part orders. However, if a product is not available, a refund will be credited to your card for the cost of the product.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the delivery address and contact details are correct and to comply with the courier’s requests to make redeliveries within a reasonable amount of time. Failure to do so may result in the order being returned to us and an additional postage charge will be incurred. Our Couriers are unable to deliver to PO Box or BFPO Numbers.
6. Claims for shortages, damaged or incorrect goods must be notified to the company in writing by email within twenty-four hours of delivery. We regret that refunds can not be considered under any other circumstances. No goods may be returned for credit or replacement without the prior written consent
We do not provide refunds for goods that have been mistreated while intransit, melted in transit due to climatic or atmospheric changes as these circumstances are out of our control. We do not recommend that chocolate or chocolate coated products are ordered in hot weather. Due to temperature differences in the summer months, chocolate can acquire a grey film. This happens due to the cocoa butter in the chocolate. The grey film does not affect the quality of the chocolate and is not a refundable reason! Please be aware of the temperatures in your country, before you order.
7. Currency: All payments shall be made in Euros or United Kingdom pounds sterling. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for adverse currency fluctuations.
8. Payments: Payments will be processed via Paypals secure server. Orders will only be processed for cards recognised by Paypal.
We are able to offer customers who are resident in the UK and have a UK Bank account, the additional facility of being able to pay for their order by Bank Transfer using online/internet banking. If you wish to make use this facility, please contact us for further details. We regret that we are unable to offer this facility, at the present time, to customers outside of the UK.
9. Liability: We will accept no responsibility or cost whatsoever if delivery of any product is delayed as a result of anything out of its control i.e. Act Of God, flood, fire, war, industrial action.
10. Customs Charges: As you may be aware Customs often charge duty on imports into certain countries. Unfortunately, we have no control over this and you will be liable for any charges incurred due to import taxes.
We will not be held responsible for goods seized by customs officials. Customers are advised to check with their local customs office for a list of restrictions governing import goods.
11. This site is provided without any warranties or guarantees. You must bear the risks associated with the use of the Internet.
12. Nothing in this Agreement affects your statutory rights.
13. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
14. At our sole discretion we may change any part of this site. It is your responsibility to check if any alterations have occurred and any further orders placed by you, will constitute your acceptance of these terms.
